I’m alive! The boot and spawn (as baby no 2 shall henceforth be known) have not turned me in to a sweat pants wearing, two am murukku eating, greasy haired cretin. Well, change two am to nine am and you wouldn’t be too far off the mark.
1. I finished The Museum of Innocence by Orhan Pamuk and Beautiful Thing by Sonia Faleiro. Have now re-started Sea of Poppies.
2. Rats ate my tusli and omavalli plants when they were left out on a parapet wall one night. I AM NOT KIDDING. this is not the gardening equivalent of ‘Miss my dog ate my homework’. On the other hand my cook sprinkled some old dried red chilly seeds in an empty pot and lo and behold they thrive and have already sprouted. WHATEVER UNIVERSE.
3. The Boot had his first Annual Day ever. After doing his dance steps for about thirty seconds he spent the next two minutes of the song on stage glaring at the audience with his hands folded. Don’t bother with that Hollywood walk of fame star people.
Time for another murukku.

i have been following bloggers who hardly update. We are a vanishing tribe. So glad to see you update. My chillies have sprouted too. I must put up pictures. And my Crown of Jesus (cactus that flowers) is flowering, China rose is flowering and so is the rose. I am one happy gardener right now.
1.. Nearly 3 books and its not even march – wooohooo!
2. Plants – my balcony looks like a greenhouse graveyard. Am trying to pursuade SOMEBODY to do something about it. And that somebody is NOT me.
3. Maybe he’s attempting to be the dark brooding character from an art film?
